Advanced Management of Spinal Pain
Course Details
This course is designed to advance clinicians’ ability to assess, treat, and manage spinal pain using evidence-informed manual therapy, targeted exercise, and patient-centered education. Emphasis is placed on clinical reasoning, appropriate patient selection, and integrating manual interventions within a broader biopsychosocial framework.
Through hands-on labs and case-based learning, participants will refine thrust and non-thrust techniques for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine while learning how to tailor interventions based on symptom behavior, irritability, and functional goals. Techniques are more thrust than non-thrust.
For: PTs. Check with your practice act regarding your state’s stance on manipulation.
